Thundaflo's E2 Level Threshold System meets the requirements set out in NZBC E2.

Off the shelf Compliant with Level Entry requirements of NZBC E2/AS1 (7.3.2.1 - Concrete Slab) and MOE Weathertightness Design Requirements for New Schools, Version 3, Sept 2020.

A. a minimum width of 200 mm and minimum depth of 150 mm Y

B. a maximum length of 3700 mm Y (Channels have outlets every 3 metres)

C. 1:200 minimum fall along length of channel towards a drainage outlet (Built into the system, no need to scree in fall after installation. Zero gradient channel is available as an option where there is a depth restriction. e.g. Slab foundation.)
The channel discharging to the surface water drainage system via a sump (In-line sumps are provided as an option therefore no need to install a seperate sump

D. Grating, in accordance with Tables 21 & 22, over the channel (Grating is manufactured with 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel or Fibre Reinforced Polymer)

E. Grating is supported independently of the door frame with a 
12mm continuous minimum gap from door and wall cladding Y

F. Grating that is removable to allow access for cleaning Y
